Lifeline's objective is to provide Professional Counselling for Post-Termination Loss - no matter how long ago it took place. Taking part in our counselling programme, working with a caring and compassionate counsellor, can be the start of new beginnings and new life for the woman!
"I feel a different person now and able to cope with my life again. Thank you, you have helped me lift a burden from my shoulders" (Quote from a 38 year old teacher).
-
Lifeline's objective is to provide a personal counsellor throughout the pregnancy, offering one-to-one emotional support and any practical help needed, i.e. baby clothes, pram, cot etc.
-
We also welcome couples who come for counselling. A trained counsellor will be available to listen and help them express their true feelings. This can benefit them immensely and usually results in helping the couple come to their own decision.
Our clients come from all walks of life. Some are recommended by friends, health visitors, GP's family support workers, health agencies and other organisations, and others drop in without an appointment.
Many people have benefited from our much needed service.
All our services are free.
